It works across macOS, Linux, and Windows with automatic OS detection and one-line installation. Developers and operations teams using Claude Code CLI benefit from reduced context-switching, faster task completion, and better awareness of when Claude needs input or has finished work.
How to Use
Install with one command: curl -sSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/dongzhenye/claude-code-notifications/main/install.sh | bash. The installer auto-detects your OS and applies the recommended sound configuration. Choose from minimal (terminal bell), recommended (two event-based sounds), or custom (desktop/webhook integrations) based on your needs.
