About This Skill
Reddit Autopilot is an open-source service that automates posting to multiple subreddits using JSON task configuration. It handles Reddit API rate-limiting smoothly, prevents subreddit spam through configurable reposting delays, and supports crosspost and direct link post modes. The tool includes optional auto-reply functionality with Markdown formatting and post flair support for subreddits with mandatory flair requirements. Users configure tasks in CouchDB, and the app processes them continuously without daily post limits, making it suitable for ongoing Reddit marketing campaigns.
How to Use
Install Python 3.7+ and Apache CouchDB, obtain Reddit Developer API credentials, then configure tasks as JSON documents in CouchDB's tasks collection. Fill in configs.yaml and create a praw.ini file with Reddit credentials. Run python main.py to start processing tasks, and optionally run huey_consumer.py in a separate terminal to handle auto-replies.
