UGCVidGen is a Python script that automates the creation of user-generated content style videos by combining hook videos, text overlays, call-to-action clips, and background music. The tool reads hooks from a CSV file, randomly selects from your music library, and generates finished videos saved to a folder with automatic logging. It handles video resizing and cropping to standardize dimensions, tracks used hooks to prevent repetition, and supports customizable text size, color, and fonts. This skill solves the time-consuming video production bottleneck for marketers, small business owners, and content creators who need consistent, high-quality UGC-style content at scale without manual editing.
How to Use
Install FFmpeg and Python 3.11+, then organize your assets into folders: hook_videos, cta_videos, music, and fonts. Create a hooks.csv file with text overlays, configure variables like NUM_VIDEOS and FONT_SIZE at the top of the script, and run python UGCReelGen.py to generate finished videos in the final_videos folder.
