About This Skill
vsync automates configuration synchronization across multiple AI coding environments by establishing a single source of truth. Instead of manually managing separate directory structures and file formats (JSON, TOML, JSONC) in each tool, vsync reads your source tool's configuration and intelligently syncs Skills, MCP servers, Agents, and Commands to all connected tools. The tool handles format conversion transparently, preserves environment variables, and offers safe mode (additions only) or prune mode (strict mirroring) to match your team's sync strategy. Operations teams managing Claude Code, Cursor, OpenCode, and Codex can eliminate configuration drift and reduce onboarding time with a single `vsync sync` command.
How to Use
Install with `npm install -g @nicepkg/vsync` or run directly with `npx @nicepkg/vsync`. Run `vsync init` to detect your AI coding tools and select a source of truth. Then use `vsync sync` to sync all configurations, `vsync sync --dry-run` to preview changes, or `vsync sync --prune` for strict mirroring across all tools.
