Automates academic paper planning and writing for philosophy and interdisciplinary research. Uses Claude Code to create structured workflows with quality checkpoints. Benefits researchers and academics by streamlining manuscript preparation.
git clone https://github.com/lishix520/academic-paper-skills.gitAcademic Paper Skills provides a two-skill workflow for researchers to transform ideas into submission-ready manuscripts. The Strategist skill analyzes target venues, identifies research gaps backed by 3–5 citations, and generates reviewer-assessed outlines using a 7-dimension, 35-point assessment system. The Composer skill then drafts papers from outlines with systematic quality checks and final evaluation. Designed for philosophy and interdisciplinary research, it supports submission to preprint platforms including PhilArchive, arXiv, PhilSci-Archive, and PsyArXiv. Researchers benefit from platform-specific style learning based on 8–10 sample papers and multiple validation gates throughout the writing process.
Clone the repository and copy the strategist and composer skills to your Claude Code skills directory. Restart Claude Code to load the skills. Start by activating the Strategist skill to plan your paper through three phases, then use the Composer skill to write from the resulting outline.
