About This Skill
Claude Usage is a local dashboard that monitors Claude Code's token consumption across projects and sessions. It reads Claude's local session logs, measures input, output, and cache tokens, and estimates equivalent API costs in real time. The tool displays activity patterns by hour and day, calculates cache savings, and updates live as you work. All data remains on your machine—the tool never inspects content, only token volume and timestamps. It's built with TypeScript, React, and Bun, and runs via a simple command-line installation.
How to Use
Install with curl -fsSL https://ocodista.com/claude-usage-install.sh | bash, then run claude-code-usage to open the dashboard at http://localhost:3190. The tool automatically watches your ~/.claude directory and streams live usage updates to the dashboard.
