About This Skill
Deep-Research-skills is a structured research workflow skill for Claude Code, OpenCode, and Codex that breaks complex research into two phases: outline generation and deep investigation. The skill automates data gathering, analysis, and synthesis from multiple sources via parallel web agents, while maintaining human oversight at every stage. It supports academic research, technical evaluations, market analysis, and due diligence projects. Users create a research outline, optionally refine items and fields, trigger automated deep research across all topics, and generate organized markdown reports. Installation requires copying skill files, configuring web-search agents, and installing the PyYAML dependency.
How to Use
Clone the repository and copy skill files to your Claude Code, OpenCode, or Codex configuration directory. For OpenCode, enable web search by setting OPENCODE_ENABLE_EXA=1. Install the pyyaml Python dependency. Trigger research with /research (topic), optionally add items/fields, run /research-deep for automated searches, then generate a report with /research-report.
