PPT Translator is a Python-based tool that converts PowerPoint presentations into multiple languages while maintaining all original formatting, fonts, colors, spacing, tables, and alignment. It supports five LLM providers—DeepSeek, OpenAI, Anthropic, Grok, and Gemini—allowing you to choose your preferred translation engine via CLI flags. The tool handles batch processing of entire presentation directories, includes smart caching to avoid duplicate API calls, and completes most translations in under two seconds. It extracts presentation content to XML, translates text through your chosen provider, and rebuilds the PPTX with translated content and intact styling. Ideal for teams, educators, and businesses that need to localize presentations for global audiences without reformatting.
How to Use
Install Python 3.10+, copy example.env to .env and add your API keys for desired providers, then run: python main.py /path/to/decks --provider openai --source-lang zh --target-lang en. The tool generates the translated PPTX with formatting preserved.
